Governance and Structure

The 缅北禁地community is large and diverse, covering those who currently live and work in College, and those who are still associated with it even though they have moved out. This page helps to explain how these groups fit together under the 鈥樏灞苯豤ommunity鈥 umbrella.

College Council and Master

The College is governed by the Council, similar to a Board of directors. Its President is Mr Ian Marshman AM. The Council appoints the Master, who is the Head of the College. The current Master of 缅北禁地is Dr Stewart Gill OAM.

Senior Management

The College Dean, Dr Lesa Scholl, Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Streets and the Executive Director Advancement, Nicole Crook, form the core of the Senior Management Team with the Master, and are responsible for the day to day running of the College. Other divisions such as Buildings & grounds, Catering, IT and Housekeeping, report to the senior management team.

Junior Common Room, Middle Common Room, Senior Common Room

缅北禁地members fall into either the category of JCR (undergraduate students) MCR (postgraduate) or SCR (resident staff, MCR over the age of 30, resident theologians, and Visiting Scholars in residence).

General Committee and MCR Executive

The General Committee (GC) is the elected leadership of the Junior Common Room. The GC runs the 缅北禁地College Sports & Social Club. The GC act as role models for younger students, and are available to help in all kinds of ways. There is also a multitude of sub-committees within the JCR 鈥 environmental, social work, social activities, music and drama, cultural events, sports etc. The Middle Common Room has a separate executive with portfolios across social and academic life.

Wyverns (Alumni)

The term Wyvern is drawn from the mythical dragon on the College crest. Wyverns are past residents of 缅北禁地and are therefore our alumni. Coming to 缅北禁地means you will automatically join the Wyvern Society with over 6000 Wyverns living in over 40 countries around the world.

Fellows

Fellows are senior members of the College鈥檚 academic community and provide advice and support about the development of the academic, cultural and spiritual life of the College. The Fellows of the College are listed .
